First Visit Expectations

You can expect an oral exam and consultation during your first visit to Central Washington Oral & Facial Surgery. This will allow you to discuss your diagnosis and treatment options, as well as build rapport with your oral surgeon. While certain simpler procedures may be performed on the same day as your consultation, many first visits are intended for informational, diagnostic, and treatment planning purposes.

Please bring the following information with you to your first visit:

  • List of all medications that you are currently taking, including dosage

  • Medical history

  • Referral form, along with any X-rays or other scans

  • Medical and/or dental insurance information (if applicable)

X-rays from your referring doctor or dentist may have been sent to our office ahead of your appointment. Contact your referring provider if you are unsure if you need to bring your referral form.

A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 for every visit to our office, including the first visit.

If you have any questions about your first visit, we encourage you to call our office, where one of our friendly staff members will be happy to help you. We look forward to caring for you and your loved ones at Central Washington Oral & Facial Surgery.
